From the perspective of Natalie

I'm going to start with the youngest. Natalie is 18 months, adorable little girl but definetely a spunky one! There was no way to explain to Natalie:
Mommy is having knee surgery,
Mommy can't walk for 6 weeks,
Mommy can't pick you up,
Mommy is going to sit around a lot........

So surgery happened, we came home in the early evening, and Natalie seemed cranky so she went to bed fairly early. On Wednesday.....cranky. On Thursday......cranky. She cried all the time!! I can share this now because for the most part it has past, now we have a new Natalie. Natalie now understands that mom can't (at least not at the same speed I did 10 days ago):
Chase her,
Grab her off the table,
Stop her from eating crayons....

Let's just say, she knows I can't reach her under the dining room tables and so no it's a game and she giggles!

I think it's safe to safe that Natalie will be adventurous. The ab roller I use to get around the house now has a new purpose.
