24 Hours Later....

I have mentioned this previously but Adam is later than any of your children, neighbors, and most strangers at using the toilet. I can start listing all the excuses as to why I didn't push him, fight him and pull out my hair trying to convince him to do the job in the toilet rather than in his pants but I won't.

It all happened last week!

One morning, I felt BOLD, I made him sit on the toilet every 2-3 hours and he didn't pee once but he did poop twice so I didn't feel defeated and the second day every time I put him on the toilet, he completed the necessary task to empty his bladder.

On the third morning he came down stairs and said, "I have to go potty" and now 4 days later, he doesn't even tell me, he goes into the bathroom and completes the task by himself and I just pray it's in the toilet! He is even diaperless at night!

In full disclosure, we have had one accident. Adam and Kyle were playing old school Mario on the game cube and Adam had an accident because Kyle wouldn't pause it...or so he says!

It is very nice to be back to one in diapers!
